ADL has announced the appointment of Daniel Frank as the new ADL Florida Regional Director. The ADL Florida Regional Office serves the entire State of Florida, fighting antisemitism and all forms of discrimination through education, advocacy, and investigation.
“The rising tide of antisemitism is alarming and I am honored to help advance ADL’s mission at this critical juncture,” Daniel noted. “I look forward to working alongside ADL Florida staff, board members, and community partners across the region to combat antisemitism and hate.”
Daniel is a seasoned global community impact and public policy leader. For almost a decade, he led ReadyNation, a Washington, DC-based national nonprofit that mobilized business leaders to encourage increased public investments in education impacting under-resourced children and youth.
In that time, he helped grow the platform to include an international footprint with affiliate networks in other countries.
Daniel began his career as a corporate transactional attorney with one of South Florida’s oldest law firms, and served as Vice President of a binational chamber of commerce in Miami. In recent roles, Daniel led economic and workforce development efforts for a major utility company and served as an independent nonprofit consultant on a broad range of issues.
ADL Southern Division Vice President and former Florida Regional Director Sarah Emmons shared, “The rise in antisemitic incidents across the country and here in Florida is troubling. We are proud to have a dedicated professional like Daniel join us to lead our Florida team at this pivotal moment.”
Daniel is the grandson of German Jewish refugees who escaped the Nazis while other family members perished at Auschwitz in the Holocaust. His paternal grandfather was a Ritchie Boy, serving in the elite U.S. Army unit of Jewish soldiers during World War II.
Daniel is both excited and heartened to continue his community impact journey with ADL and focus on a personally meaningful mission to combat antisemitism and hate in all forms.
“We are elated for Daniel to lead ADL’s efforts in Florida,” said Patricia Jaegerman, Regional Board Chair. “Daniel has a strong reputation as a catalyst for growth, and we are looking forward to his leadership at ADL. His breadth of experience across private and not-for-profit sectors will be a great asset.”
Daniel earned his B.A. in Political Science and Spanish from Carleton College and his J.D. from the University of Iowa where he was a published staff member of the Iowa Law Review.
