ADL Florida Profoundly Saddened By The Loss Of Jason Jenkins

Boca Raton, Fla., August 27, 2022 It is with profound sadness that we share of the passing of our Board Member and dear friend Jason Jenkins. Jason was the Senior Vice President of Communications and Community Affairs with the Miami Dolphins. He created the Dolphins’ Football Unites program, which brings together dozens of groups of different races, genders, sexual orientations, identities, abilities, and faith around the power of football. ADL Florida is a proud member of Football Unites; through Jason’s efforts, hundreds of South Florida students have participated in ADL’s anti-bias initiatives, experienced our Read4Respect program, and learned to stand up as allies for one another. Jason also served as an ADL and Aspen Institute Civil Society Fellow.

ADL Florida Regional Director Sarah Emmons said, “We have lost a true friend, and Florida has lost a stalwart community leader. Jason Jenkins was unwaveringly and genuinely kind, and he opened doors, hearts, and minds. Our deepest condolences go out to Jason’s wife Elizabeth and their three beloved children. May Jason’s memory be a blessing.”
